  Algonquin Provincial Park

Speaker Series

So much research going on in Algonquin Park, but do we really know what our fellow researchers are studying?

Speaker Series was implemented in 2008 at the WRS in

order for researchers to share the details of their projects with others. Not only is it interesting for others to learn about the projects going on, but it is a valuable experience for presenters as they can gain valuable insights and suggestions from colleagues.

Speaker Series is open to anyone involved with or curious about research in Algonquin Park and are welcome to come

to the station for an informal night of learning and socializing.

If you are interested in attending or presenting at Speaker Series, please contact the Station Manager for more information.

David LeGros presents a Speaker Series talk on his Masters project -

Logging roads, road effects and mitigation techniques for Amphibians in Algonquin Provincial Park.
